Smoothies are a great way to start your day, but we don’t always have time for all that slicing and dicing, and then there’s the clean up :/ Solution: Make-ahead, ready-to-go, no fuss, no muss smoothie cubes – the ultimate morning time-saver hack that will elevate your morning routine and your wellness to a whole new level!

What you need:

Ice cube trays: I recommend the large cube flexible trays typically used for cocktails (whiskey cubes).

Smoothie ingredients: I recommend making several recipes at once so you have some variety to choose from during the week.


Blend up your smoothie ingredients (except protein powder if using) using less liquid than you normally would (approximately 1/4 to 1/2 cup) and simply pour into your ice cube tray and freeze overnight.  Once frozen you can pop out the cubes and store in a ziplock freezer bag for up to 1 month.


Put 3 smoothie cubes in blender and add liquid of choice (start with 1/4 cup and increase if needed to reach desired consistency).  Blend and enjoy.  That’s it!
