GET YOUR MORNING TINGLE ON!

Ready to feel energized and radiant in just a few minutes? Of course you are! Wake up your skin and your senses with one of my all-time favorite morning rituals – the invigorating practice of dry skin brushing.

Dry brushing the skin of the entire body (except for your face, neck, chest and genitals) before showering with a special brush made specifically for this purpose is a fantastic method for boosting circulation and stimulating and supporting improved functioning of the entire lymphatic system – so important for our immune health and detoxification.

In addition, dry brushing exfoliates the skin leaving it feeling soft and glowing. It’s so invigorating and tingle producing – you will soon become totally addicted!!!

Here’s how to turn this simple, invigorating, health-promoting act into an energizing ritual:

THE METHOD:

  1. Grab a natural bristle brush (the firmer, the better) with a detachable handle
  2. Start at your feet and brush upward toward your heart using long, gentle strokes
  3. Use lighter pressure on sensitive areas and firmer pressure on thicker skin (feet and thighs)
  4. Spend about 5 minutes covering your whole body
  5. Finish with a refreshing warm (or cool) shower to rinse off dead skin cells
  6. Follow up immediately with your favorite moisturizer to lock in the skin health benefits and seal in that glow

WHY IT WORKS: Dry brushing stimulates the lymphatic system, which helps with lymphatic drainage and:
