GET YOUR MORNING BOOGIE ON!

This is my all-time favorite morning energy hack!!  If you have a hard time getting out of bed like me, let me tell you – music is the answer!!  The key is to wake up to music that lures you out of bed (so maybe something a little upbeat but mellow) and then ramp that up to music that makes you want to dance.  Game changer!!  If you have subscribed to my newsletter, you will get a new Morning Boogie Playlist each week. I would also recommend creating your own Morning Boogie Playlist with songs that you love and just have fun with it.

I promise that this fun little morning energy hack will not only help you happily get out of bed but will elevate your morning routine to a whole new level. (Yes, even on Mondays!)

THE METHOD:

  1. Have your playlist locked and loaded and ready to go by your bedside
  2. Upon waking, hit play and let the music do it’s magic
  3. Dance your way through your normal morning routine (you won’t be able not too!)
  4. Switch up your playlist weekly to keep things fresh

WHY IT WORKS: Starting your day with a morning dance party activates your body, releases endorphins, and sets a positive tone for your day. Even a 5-minute dance session can:

  • Increase blood flow and oxygen to your brain
  • Boosts your mood instantly
  • Increases your metabolism
  • Burns calories before breakfast

PRO TIPS FOR BUILDING THE HABIT:

  • Start with gentle, uplifting tunes that ease you awake
  • Transition to higher-energy tunes that make movement irresistible
  • Include some songs that bring back happy memories
  • Experiment with new music and artists (there is a lot of great stuff out there on Spotify and other music platforms to explore).
